MY MORNING ROUTINE.

I start my day each and every day with a prayer thanking the Universe in advance for another day of abstinence, sobriety and my way of life. Then I play Miracle Morning Rampage by Ester Hicks while I make my bed. Next I do yoga with Rodney Yee. This is a ten min. hip opening routine to prepare for sitting meditation which you guessed it, comes next. I now do my morning meditation in my home sauna. Next I do body tapping. I’ve put a video here. I don’t often follow the video any longer. I do love it when Linda says Hello Earth Citizens. Most mornings I do slap my chest repeatedly and quite hard like Tarzan and say, “Wake up Lungs” and “Good Morning Lungs.” “Happy Healthy Lungs” I started this practice during COVID-19 when lung health became essential.

A morning discipline can be really helpful especially in early sobriety. I was allergic to being told what to do and wanted to be a free spirit. Active addiction is the opposite of freedom. True freedom comes from surrender and discipline.

The Time You Have

Here is a video about your lifetime counted in Jelly Beans. It’s a video with facts about the time we spend sleeping, eating and eliminating. This video is fantastic when combined with watching Sarah Knights video about budgeting where we give our time and attention.

 

12 F*cked Steps

Many of my clients don’t relate to the 12 step approach to sobriety. They misunderstand the 1st step and believe it’s focus to be on admitting powerlessness. Others don’t like the fact that God is mentioned throughout the original 12 steps and are offended by religion foundation of the program. Here is an alternative.
